Do you recall the painted chaos I posted a few months ago...
Perhaps this image will help...
It has been many years since I had a complete fail on a project - I guess I was due for one - and in the big scheme of things - it is just paint
Last weekend I finally had a moment to finish - and ended up painting the living room a fresh coat of paint - (the same color)
The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of events... as I have eluded to in the past couple posts
I will paint a picture for you... (since painting is how I roll these days - get it - painting & roll!)
anyhoo...
It is a cool February Monday morning I am busy working & casually thinking about the various projects I have on the go - both with clients & within our own home. I day dream a little about the great millwork that will adorn our walls in the entrance and wonder when we will have time to work on that... fast forward a few day - there is a property... fast forward a few days later and we are the new homeowners. (given much happened between that time) I think emotionally more happened during those days then I was aware of. Our little people are so excited - personally - I run the roller coaster of excitement to overwhelmed in the same breath. I luv or current home & also the excitement for our "new" home & the possibilities!
I love how God has perfect timing and looking back over the past couple weeks I can see His timing in it all and how even months ago he was preparing the hearts of our boys & us for this. If you think of us please pray for us, and pray for the family who will purchase our home, as I know that likely the family who purchases our home will gain a new relationship with our wonderful neighbours as well - we sure will miss them. I also pray that over the next couple months we will see all that God has been preparing us for... and the reminder that we must not be to busy to notice!
As we prepare to say goodbye to our home I feel I need to finish the projects I always dreamed of seeing done - so the millwork is up & completed, the living room has been painted, the basement is looking great. Oh, and the tile work in our ensuite was finished this morning (I will post pics of how that all happened... as my cute sidekick took the whole tiling job very seriously - work gloves were even involved)
I hope your having a great week & Happy Weekend!
