Sorry guys no post about the black board project just yet as I would luv to photo the paint I used (which is currently at the bottom of a pile of paint cans) just to share that info with you...
But in the meantime these pics came into my in-box yesterday and I just thought they were to lovely not to share with you all!
And before I go... the Edison Chandelier I forgot to post last week...
At first I must confess that this type of light fixture "The Edison Chandelier" as it prefers to go by, it didn't catch me right away. They are a little random for my brain and can be borderline messy looking... however organized chaos is still organized in my world, and the functionality of this type of light in my office suited my need for light in various locations without making new holes in an already finished ceiling (to run additional wiring - again the joys of a reno vs. building new)... so "functionality" is kicking "messy" to the curb so to speak.

Love the light fixture! I find it's easier to design for others than it is for yourself- I'm a second-guesser as well. Looking forward to seeing the chairs from France!
Oh good it isn't just me... I know what to do for everyone at the drop of a hat... me... well 6 months later still driving myself crazy over a tv stand, armoire, book shelf, etc.... and yes the chairs from France.... it has been hard to wait for them to arrive, I will post pics as soon as they do!!
