HUGE progress was made over the past 5 days in the ensuite
A last minute decision was made to pull a shelving unit from the garage holding reno odds and ends, however in its past life it was used as towel storage in our previous ensuite
(I am going to jump around here a bit, so I hope this makes sense)
... in this home we have a 12" space between the shower and the wall and we decided to fill it with thick shelves to hold towels, etc. but.... once the shelves were installed and it was finished all nicely, the opening was closer to 10.75", and rolling up a fluffy towel and stuffing it into the shelf... well it looked like.... yeah you can insert any random overstuffed thought you have here... it wasn't good!
So my youngest and I lugged the previous ensuites shelving unit from the garage into the kitchen and I casually brushed on some leftover white paint from the ensuite
okay yes sorry the baskets!... okay where was I...
so the 10.75" space that is no longer needed to store towels will now be used to hold various other bathroom accessories like, tp, blow dryer, my crimpers (little wave and big wave, cause you never know what decade you might need to look part of !!).. so this space now needs baskets so not to see all the "stuff"
I think magazine baskets will be the best option here.. and I am liking these ones currently sold by Pottery Barn
(I kind of think this one would hold buns better than magazines... but maybe I am just hungry)
... luv the handles
Happy Wednesday!
