hence.... new shoes were required. so little "A" and i went off to the shoe store for some nice runners (no wal-mart specials this time). Found some supper cute high tops and they are the brightest white ever, they are beautiful, umm err i mean handsome! So i did think to myself if i should by black shoes as they will probably end up that color sooner or later anyway... but... nope to cute and they look good on him and he likes them... so off to the till we go and "A" still not completely convinced that there was not a "better" (which means more expensive) pair of shoes on the shelf that we had not asked the poor "shoe guy" to climb up his 40' ladder to the highest shelf in the store to retrieve only to discover no arch support - remember these are quality shoes... so off to the till we were and they were purchased - he asked if he could wear them out... hee hee i remember doing this as a kid with my mom at Saan... bikbok jeans - classy super dark jeans with spandex in them - i was so modern and i didn't even know it!!
so the other day "a" put on his new shoes and we were heading out when he said...
"Mom i think these shoes have great art supplies!"
I of course gave him the look - cause my brain just automatically sends my face the coordinates of where my one eye brow must raise to and where the opposite eye should lower too, and the nose and mouth must move both slightly to the left... this signals confusion to me... and the person looking at me!
so i quickly ponder and respond with "do you mean arch support?"
A responds with - "umm - Yup!" giggle giggle

Then this morning we were talking about our bacon at breakfast and "a" pipes up with "Yeah i would love to go for a walk?" - where did that come from - who knows!!
