I love being creative, and there was a hope to "refresh".
We have been in our "new" home for 5 years now, don't know why i still refer to it as "new" but i do... on average i work on 4 homes a week, and spring bumps that number up to about 7 (or more)... and i often see and think of such cool things that i wish i could do in my house but the time and cha-ching just isn't there... now i need to keep my family and home at the top of my list "always" - of course i know reality is that there will still be weeks when "work" just is busy and i will not be able to get it "all" done at home but letting it go completely i cannot... so this is where we decided to start in our home with some "refreshing"...

poor "A" he ended up staying home from school that day with the fever, but he is such a hard worker and could not bear to see me painting without helping a little!

the color was not dark enough and had to much "blue" in it for me - not warm enough! so back to Days i went to have it re-tinted darker - and the top is the new color - much better!
Check back in a couple days to see what else is happening to that wall... new artwork and some "trim"
I helped out in "E" class the other day and we created the official Ukrainian Easter Eggs... we all started at 11 in the morning and finished at 3 - all that for one egg - wow a lot of work! the eggs turned out great - it was so much fun and all the kids did amazing jobs - i was not sure how littler people would do with raw eggs, candles, and hot wax would fair but they did amazing, and no student broke there finished egg - a mom did but trust me it was completely understandable - this was delicate work! they are on display at school for the month of April
