I can almost see it

So last week when i posted about the fabric samples right after that i remembered that i had a can of flat white spray paint

soooo.....

i collected all items from around the house that i thought would look good white - including this fellow



made my way out to the garage and sprayed away

.... ran out of paint, ugggg

i guess i tried to paint to many things

so they sit half painted - one more coat needed

except for this guy



he is hanging out in his new spot in the living room - a trial run if you wanna call it - just until the weather is nice enough to do another coat and so i can add some "character"

the art originally hung above the fireplace, but it was to large scale for the location, and i think it looks much better here.

the tree that was sitting in this corner is now in the basement - good place for fake plants as sunlight & watering will be in short supply down there
(outta sight - outta mind)

I also pinned up some white sheets just to see what the room will look like with white curtains and it was sooo nice. I am glad i did this prior to purchasing the fabric, as once i pinned up the white for the curtains, having the ottoman recovered was no longer necessary.

I also picked up a couple pillow "duvets" (i know they are just called covers - but i thought a pillow duvet sounded cooler - hey it might catch on you never know)
i picked up three of the creamy white pillow "duvets" at ikea along with a black and creamy white feather pillow... instantly brighter in the living room

i feel like it is coming together - there will also be new art for the fireplace (well new to the fireplace wall anyway - as i am trying to use what i already have/own!)

and fingers crossed... dare i say that the kitchen tile project looks to be on the horizon!! (did you notice february's challenge ??)
