The boys are back to school shortly and I am having flashbacks of what it was like to have time to work uninterrupted again... ahhhh it will be nice
I have loved having them home this summer, they are such great boys, but I am ready to have them back at school and I think they are ready too
My boys have great imaginations and a funny rambling has been occurring during our mealtimes because of it
All summer a going theme at every meal time has been if we should put what we are having for breakfast/lunch/supper on our menu. They talk about what they would name the dish and what the kids menu option would be.
As apparently my sweets and I are opening a restaurant when we retire... and the menu planning has already begun
I kind of envision retirement as me & my sweets sitting on a white sandy beach (me in my bikini and him in his speedo) watching the clouds go by sipping something cool to drink while listening to the waves of the ocean lap against the shore
running around a hot kitchen cooking people meals - hmmmm - tough call , tough call
But who knows maybe both of our boys will end up world renowned chefs and my sweets and I can settle in the villa close to their restaurants on the Mediterranean and the beach scene can still be our reality
who knows really
I look at those cute little faces and I wonder where God will lead them
I am so glad He is in control
