We are not "halloween" celebratory people per say...
however we do luv us some candy
The boys are going low key at school today
wearing orange and black to earn "house points"
And after school they will become wild beasts searching for treats
okay maybe not that wild - hey a moose with one eye is pretty edgy
parkas will also be part of the costume - the wind is frigid out today
they planned their treating route during breakfast this morning and treating buddies have been co-ordinated (us moms will be sipping our mocha's & snacking on a few treats too - it's tradition)

Last time I posted I shared my long list of "wishes" for the day
I am happy to say I accomplished it and surpassed my goals
It then took me three days to recover - shesh
I think I experienced what I now call a Crafting / Project / DIY overload
Five - yes 5 chalkboards were made

Okay where was I....
The basement has been cleaned & mostly organized
My mom came to help me - she knew the basement would do me in
When she left at the end of the day - her car was full
(trunk/back seat/front seat)
Some of the decorating items are now complimenting her space & the rest of the stuff is sitting at the MCC
I still have four more garbage bags of stuff ready to go to various people (for example my little boys clothes go to a friend, etc...)
We also took out 5 bags of garbage & cardboard recyclables
why was that stuff still down there - shesh
Thanks sweets for taking those away
I still have more work to do down there like organizing photos and making everything look pretty. There is also a mountain of hockey equipment to go through, a pile of shoes/boots/flippies to go through, oh and winter wear to organize & wash up for this season (it is never ending)
But I can handle that - thanks Mom for all your help
Next time I will try to pace myself - ahhh who am I kidding
