Life has been moving right along - sorry for my absence
Today is no exception - busy busy
Although my list is long of items to tackle and complete today - I am grateful
We had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend, I hope you all did too
Friday night was supper at the Farm
This year we had two tables set up in the kitchen & we all ate in the same room... as typically we have all the kids in the dining room and us adults eat in the farm kitchen, but I must admit it was great to all eat together
Before we enjoyed the turkey we each had a turn at saying one item of Thanks
We are a very thankful bunch and know how blessed we are, it is never a given or taken for granted, we know God is in control and are so thankful
I was moved at my oldests item of Thanks - "I am thankful for Life"
He is such a deep soul - my eyes were a wee bit glossy
Our oldest has a keen sense of kindness and grace - don't get me wrong, his little brother has a way of trying his patience most definitely - but even though "A" drives him bananas he still gave up his seat in the combine this past weekend to his little brother, which was kinda a big deal (you may already know why)... "E" you are such a gift to us
Oh and he is funny too....
Like just the other day when he commented on the frustration of sleeping with pajama pants
"mom you know how it feels when your pant sleeves slide up"
I totally knew what he was talking about - what a handsome hoot he is
Hey need a new song to rock out to today
check out "Sun" by two door cinema club
Wearing a white pant suit while dancing in your kitchen
that is up to you
