It's beginning to feel a lot like....

Pre-Christmas !!

Although most of you are probably still working on the perfect trick-o-treat costume for your kids, so I won't put to much pressure on you just yet

Just so you know though - the pre-Christmas "stuff" it is already out there!

--------------------------------------------

But first I am curious... How was your weekend?

And even further back, How was your Friday? aka your day off!

I took my mom for Vietnamese (our favorite), then dress shopping (and truthfully burped fish sauce the rest of the afternoon, mmm yummy)
We zip'd through Tim's for a drink (shopping makes you thirsty and we also really needed something to downplay the "fish sauce" afternotes)

Note to fellow PSL people... the Tim's PSL (pumpkin spice latte) ummm resist, it wasn't my favorite truthfully, the girl at the drive through window said I wouldn't be disappointed, well 1 mile down the road... I was... perhaps it is an acquired taste... but not for me.

Even with the "funky" tasting PSL and the fish sauce after burn... it was a great day!
I hadn't seen my mom for a month (given that we live less than an hour from each other, that is kinda sad)

---------------------------------------------

So anyway where was I?

Yes, Pre-Christmas...

On Friday at one of my stops I "zipped" yes I did (I zip a lot lately and I have been told I need to go places, not zip to places - just part of the new normal around here) into "the store", and as I walked through the doors they had Christmas tree's on display all twinkly and pretty!

So it is here people, only 2'ish months away.

As for us... we have started in subtle ways (the packing boxes still do nothing for the decor)

On Saturday I signed up for a Christmas quilting class! I look forward to sharing more about that soon

I am back to making scarves again. (I make scarves in ALL my spare time - right sweets!)

Vanilla has made itself a permanent fixture on the counter for all those cool evenings

And on a recent VV trip I found these at under $2

So have you started thinking & planning for Christmas yet?
