So my little man had his b-day the other day and we had some fun!
I made his cake this year... usually around Christmas time i have little time for creative cake making... but this year i made time for it! I had these jello molds and thought hey those should work for chocolate as well... so i did some with milk chocolate and some with white chocolate, they all were filled with various yummy fillings.. like coffee, peanut butter, mint, coconut, and hazelnut. he loved his race track cake... half was chocolate and half was cherry chip... he picked what he wanted and the chocolate icing on the top was yummy (i even made that - icing is not my favorite thing to make however i do like eating it!!) and some yummy green colored coconut for the grass. He had these little signs, so we washed them and stuck them on the cake... did i mention how excited he was!!! this guy is true truck and car through and through... i think diesel runs in his veins...

making chocolates has been a three year tradition for me, and this year i had the boys join me for some creative chocolate making. they both liked the red chocolate i had, so we melted a whole bunch of it... and the creativity began!! Surprisingly they were both very clean afterwards, and i thought this might be to delicate for the little guy, but he actually did the best job - very careful he is!!
