Still Here !!

So my sweetie went to check out my blog the other day and noticed that it was a little dated... yup a three month old post, that seems to happen with my blog.

So today i thought what a great day for a post and some "re-designing" of the good ol blog... and of course a post to go with the new look!

I have been doing taxes so i think that gets you into a bit of a reflective mood of the previous year, good ol 2010, so what did i all accomplish ?? I would count all the houses i did just for curiosity sake, but for lack of time at the moment, i just know it was more than the year previous and that was just over 75... and for that I think i will just smile and guess that it is more!! I have been taking more design jobs on lately... which is so fun... i had been stepping away from that more in the past three years and focusing on the actual CAD Plans, but i am really enjoying looking at design concepts again and putting together concept plans again. It really is good for a creative soul... God blessed me with it, and i just need to use it more, it seems when we use our "blessings" it is neat how we see that affect all areas of our lives, listening to God is such a peaceful act... really the wrestling comes when we are not listening, or listening to the wrong "spirit".



I was thinking about when i was a "younger" person and for some reason i thought of these mukluks that my dad bought (silly story, he said he paid $30 and a bottle of Rye for these - and for those who know me, you know i would never pay for anything with alcohol, but i do realize that some people do like to get paid that way... and my dad is the type of free spirit that really meets people where they are at... something i think i could learn to do a little more... but still I don't think i could actually buy alcohol and then give it to someone as "payment" for something - but who knows... i never thought i would own a "collection" of stretch marks either, so sometimes life brings along a few surprises... lol... and for the record i wear those marks with a smile) I think they (mukluk's not stretch marks) are pretty cool, not sure where i would wear them out, but i am sure there has to be an occasion for them someday... and if not... they are keeping my other glitzy beaded shoes company!
