getting it done!

this past week has been busy to say the least... 9 houses on the go and a new design... busy but good! We managed to get a lot done around the house too... planted trees, mowed our acres of lawn, weeded, pruned trees & shrubs to make them look all pretty again... Work inside the house has been just as busy... our new bed is here, the new bench arrived for the dining room, and the mirror is hung! Much needed cleaning and organizing has been partially done (i have come to the point where i know i cannot do it all and keep the house clean and work almost full time from home while watching two very busy boys... just not possible so what needed to be done was)... Paint colors have been chosen for the furniture i am painting, and the bedrooms being painted have had their colors finalized in all, except one - we are close to a decision however.

sorry my camera battery died and i cannot find my charger anywhere, so as soon as i do i can take some pictures and post them. i tried taking them with my phone, but it just isn't the same... so pictures to follow soon i hope!!

we had another great weekend, spent time biking the trials, only did 8.6kms but with the heat i think we did pretty good... we stopped here to cool off, ahhh that was nice!



and in typical biking style, we stopped for ice cream, biked a little more, got hot, stopped for ice cream, biked a little more, were tired, went for Chinese food, then got hot again walking to our vehicle so off to DQ to try the new triple chocolate blizzard... (please note - we share most of the time)... what a day!

Sunday we headed back to the lake again, but when we grabbed coffee on our way out we came across this car show... it was really cool... the boys each picked their favorites...




ironically they each picked a vehicle that matched their t-shirts...


oh and due to our new bed arriving and our old bed becoming e's/the guest bed, and the little man moving into e's room where we have a blake low loft as well (and since e already carved his name into it! we will keep that one)... so now we have one to many beds so we are selling this one... this blake low loft is only a year old and in brand new condition...
