we spent 3 days at 3 different lakes, and we had sooo much fun! Fishing was priority #1 for 2 of those days... and we are so grateful for friends and family who brought their boat launching and fish cleaning skills along to help us out. Both of those skills need to be learned by me, but seeing as K cannot be in the boat and launch it at the same time - i will need to learn that skill for sure... as for the fish cleaning... yeah i am not touching that one... eat it gladly but i just couldn't even go close to the fish cleaning shack with out gagging.
We had fireworks on the lake (happy canada day) The fireworks were so well done - they even shot half a dozen of them across the water (intentionally) and that was soooo cool!

replacing lures - the fish were certainly biting the second day - unfortunately they were biting off our lures too - we lost five that day and our supper plans!
