There are many times in the past that i have opened up my blog just to see what others are up to and written a new post because i was tired of looking at the same post i had left days prior, but i can honestly say that in oh say almost 4 weeks i have not done anything remotely close to blogging. I think about it often but phew what a blast the past couple weeks have been. busy but good, what a blessing !!
today i felt normal again, like the normal where i could actually clean my house if i really wanted to, do laundry, clean bathrooms, bake (although i must tell yah, if i have a large assortment of baking on hand it usually means i am really stressed out as i bake when i am "buzzing" with work projects and life, like just last week when i made two kinds of cookies, three banana loaves, and chocolate marshmallow squares all in one day, yeah i was "crazy stressed") i think baking is a creative outlet for me that does not require me to think about houses, which i love to do but this can become almost an obsession at times, and baking allows me to still be creative without being creative, make sense??, i call it my creative break and refuel (brain and tummy).
so remember way way back when i said i would post about my ikea finds, well i have one to share with you. i found this supper cute throw and it suits me to a T.

i am totally crushing this shower curtain and stenciled ceiling... can boys do ruffle bathrooms??
and i took the picture of the trees (at the top) while out for a drive to a clients in river estates, what a beautiful area this time of year.
