O olah

You may have noticed my lack of blogging lately - I had good reason

this was my view for over a week

It was +34 daily and fabulous

We lived by the pool from 8am to 5pm everyday and getting these two cheeko's out of the pool was impossible

we also spent a little time in the ocean - however the water was so murky and we saw many creatures - including large snakes - that we stayed on the edge

this little guy loved looking for shells and rocks by the ocean when the tide went out

I must confess we ate a lot of helado during the days and the boys drank pop everyday for breakfast

This trip was very last minute as my mom and two of her siblings and a brother-in-law decided days before we left that they were going and then we jumped on board and then decided to take out little amigos with us... insert stress here... but once everything was packed and in order off we went. we knew this would be a fabulous time for us as a family before the sping rush with both our jobs hits. our resort was okay, would we go back there again? likely probably not... the mayan was our fav - the east coast clear blue warm water had us at hello - don't get me wrong i am definitely not complaining - we felt so blessed to come across this fabulous deal, to have been safe and healthy, and to have spent some fabulous time with my mom and aunt&uncles - a great traveling crowd

these little fellows we brought bread - i found someone who spoke english and he said they are what we call badgers - we only fed them because our gate security guard was and he said it was safe and we saw other guests feeding them too
