Almost a week in review....

Lots happening this past week

(I should just have that as my "standard" opening statement already - shesh sorry)

Winter is taking a toll on us - mostly me - but last week we were all feeling it

Our buses haven't been running - way to cold

We can't play outside - way to cold

We drive everywhere and eat soup and drink more hot chocolate than humans should

why??

Cause we are soooo cold!

We dream about mexican vacations (even though we said we won't go this year)

We have watched most of our family leave for warmer climate and we cling to our hot chocolate

Well on thursday we had had enough, so K & I took the boys to a hotel - it wasn't mexico but they didn't notice

Seven hours in the pool!! sooo wonderful!! (the boys have never been cleaner)

And the fact that our hotel was next door to this place... ummm yeah!!!

So while K & the boys went hunting for pizza for supper - I strolled... actually I totally sauntered through those aisles at a snails pace... just soaking it all in...

Hopefully they will not be standing like this for too long and K & I can have them installed soon - I will keep you posted on how they turn out!
(not to mention I need to repaint the living room - get on that already eh!)

This past week our Women's Ministry has begun... and I am so excited about what is being planned (Our committee has so many ideas).  At the center of it all is the desire to help women connect, by enabling those women in finding other women with common interests.  Having a BFF as a kid was so important to most of us, and while most of us go on to become married & our spouses become the BFF in our lives, there still is a desire for most women to connect with other women who are at a similar place in their lives & have similar interests... as finding support is key, and not everyone has this.  We are also providing the opportunity to do a Beth Moore study & I am so excited for the women of our community.   Hope to see y'all
