Reflection...

Do you become "reflective" sometimes?

I am not sure if it is because my children are getting older, I am getting older, my parents are getting older...

Maybe it is because my firstborn has a birthday coming later this week

Perhaps that is bringing me to "reflect"...

On our moments, our actions, and our words

Perhaps it is the natural process of leaving our home of seven years to start "new" memories, "new" actions, and "new" words somewhere else...

When we moved into our home, there was a crib, a tricycle, stuffed animals, and a vast array of baby items... this time there will be regular beds, two wheeled bikes (that are almost as big as mine), and legos...

When I really think about it, less stuff ....

Perhaps it is the feeling of Spring - even though our grass is still hiding under mounds of white...

Spring is coming...

A new crop year

New flowers & gardens

Mowing lawn

Solar tea on the back deck!

Art Note:  The art at the top of the page is one of my most favorite paintings ever.  I first saw this piece at the Edmonton Art Walk on Whyte.  Jenn (who was Jenn Shook at the time) had this piece on display at the show and if I had had the means to purchase it, I would have.  I recall that day like it was yesterday... it was so hot outside that day and I pushed my chubby baby "A" around the art displays in his umbrella stroller... I was sure we would both melt in the heat... awwww good times!
