Sinks !!

Sorry blog & Sorry blog readers (if your still checking us out here) for neglecting you for so long...

I thought it was time to get some direction here, and share some of the items that keep me up at night

And my sweets would probably appreciate not being the only human who hears my ramblings on and on... and on... and yes, on and on... about sinks, vanities, counter-top options, shower bases, tiles... etc etc

So lets start with Sinks!!

I had originally thought I would start with the tile, being that the shower will be tile and basically the site line from our new bedroom would be at this tiled shower, I thought deciding which tile to go with was the logical place to start... so as I stared and stared at tile samples, I couldn't make up my mind... as without knowing if the countertop for the vanities would be granite, marble or ... whatever it might be... picking the tile seemed like a waste of my mental time... make sense??

So I decided I really needed to have the sink design finalized first, as that would help give me direction on the rest of the room.

I googled, pin'd, and soaked up every Bath Showroom I could find.

I apologize as in my hast of snapping pictures I did not document where I sourced most of these items from properly, if you see your bathroom up here... credit belongs to you, please let me know.

Here is what has me captivated lately... on Sinks & their BFF's the Vanity
We found this guy above at Home.Depot
We like that he is round, and that the sink/counter is a 1pc - super easy to clean, and his price was nice!
draw back - 4" drill set, and I am pretty set on a single

Then I found this sink at the "Ensuite" here in the city - the price is more than the entire unit above, however when I googled it, I found the same Kohler sink at Home.Depot for half the price!
Pretty sure this vessel sink is the one!
(and it is a single - just what I was looking for)

I should also add that unlike a new home build, with a reno our vanity/countertop size has
already been pre-determined for us,
our size is 60"
and two seperate vanites appeals to us the most
therefore setting the size at 24"-27" max

I am leaning towards the rustic looking vanities the most
Luv the old vintage vibe of the Pottery Barn single door cabinets & have some d.i.y. design ideas
up my sleeve ....  paired of course with the Kohler sink/countertop 1pc top!
