I have been looking forward to the Home Show this weekend - Sarah Richardson's Tommy is there this weekend, and not that i will be having coffee with him or anything... but i do hope to hear and see some great things from him and all "representatives" there! Note: I am going with my living room fireplace wall in mind - the marble surround is definitely staying, but the walls and bookcases need help - at least that is "my" opinion anyway - see picture above - it is just to "builder" looking, does that make sense??
My weekend also consists of looking and hopefully purchasing an area rug for the family media room. We have gorgeous floors in that room and i would like to keep them that way... and with it also being the hang out zone of little boys and their friends I cannot always predict that everyone who visits knows the rules of our house and what can and cannot be done on hardwood floors! (there is also a very large ottoman in the room that gets moved often for the perfect foot perch for the sectional - so an area rug is my solution). I will be moving some cubbies around to provide better storage in my youngest guys room - his room also needs to be painted so i will also be paint chip gathering - all i can say is "aura" i will be visiting your store soon!! Oh... and I have this really cool DIY project that i hope to post pics for really soon - i will say this though - it involves a piano bench , vv, a hammer, leather, and creativity... i hope it works!!
