I acquired this beautiful mirror the other week and am thinking it might go great over the table in the "refreshed" dining room... what do you think ? It goes well with the table...



i used to have a really nice candle holder sitting on this table beside the love seat till an accidental overzealous approach to closing curtains in the living room by a little person who shall remain un-named broke it... so I found this one at Wal-Mart for under $10 in the outdoor accessories department. I thought it would be prefect for this spot - and it is... plus I really like green!!



I picked up this little ditty in a specialty tea shop while out in the mountains/foothills the other week... it is a "Brewt" and you use it like a bodum for coffee and lose teas - it says it can be used to make hot chocolate, but cleaning the filter after that sounds like more work than it might be worth! It comes with a trivet coaster that it sits on while "perking" and then you set it on your cup and press slightly down on the cup and it drips/pours out the bottom - i think a clear cup might be a better companion for it though rather than a solid ceramic cup as you may overfill... but it is cool!
(i bought the plant $5, ceramic pot $0.75, mocha flat sushi plates $4 at Ikea during our trip as well)
