Decision Time...

Is it just me or do you find that your entire house seems to get messy when there is a "reno" in just one room ??

On wednesday I decided that our house mess was just to much - and that all my office furniture could no longer reside in the hallway and living room.

I talked myself into installing the paintable wallpaper so that I could regain normalcy - especially because I work in this space everyday

But I just wasn't feelin the wallpaper...

So I gave it some more thought (in like 10 minutes with wallpaper & exacto knife in hand) and asked myself

"what would you really like to do ?"

This is what I said...

I do have this after all in my way way back backyard

under mounds of snow however - hmmmmmmm

It just so happens that my sweets did blade the yard yesterday as my dad is coming out today to take down some more wood for a sleigh bed he is currently building - and my new desk...
sadly he isn't feeling to well today so we will see how far we get.

I am hoping to post "after" photos on monday - here is to hoping

BEFORE I GO....

Yesterday was a funny day with my boys - funny comments abounded from them all evening... here are a couple

My sweets asked the boys what they should get me for Christmas...

E's response - Top Soil, A Barbie, A T-Pain Microphone, A Lamborghini

A's response - A file folder & Drafting Paper (because he likes to use my paper for making paper airplanes), Oh and unlimited ear wax - I mean lotto max (the lotto adds have been playing on tv alot lately and I explained to him yesterday what a lotto is - fyi I have never bought a ticket - but he thought that would be nice)

My sweets also asked the boys at supper if they had their vitamins yet - to which "A" replied

"Yup I had Barney's wife"

We tried not to laugh - we failed

Have a terrific weekend
