O What A Day...

I know i had said yesterday that i was going to finish up those projects, but when you get a call to meet at the pool, you do not pass that up. so i finished off a house in the morning and spent the rest of the day watching my sweet little guys play and splash in the pool. the new thing this summer has been to see how long you can hold your breathe under water... the hilarious thing about this is "A" still panics in the shower when water gets on his face... but apparently if the end result is not to get clean, then getting your face wet is okay.
after the pool we grabbed chicken for supper and then off we were to Home.Sense to return a couple items... and i decided to keep the cabinet/hutch so it did not make the journey back to the store with us.
while we were there i spotted this...

i sooo like the honeycomb style of each piece being a separate block of wood... it was soooo cool, that would totally go in my house if i had space for it. i liked the chair beside it too... and speaking of chairs "E" had a great time finding all sorts a great chairs that would work perfect in his room... "but mom this one is only $299 and the other ones i liked are $399 so this one is better can i get it?" boy this kiddo better get a good job someday, he has expensive taste.

it was a great day, and on our way home we even got to bring daddy tim's... it was a beautiful evening for dady to be swathing...

soooo... with school back in soon i am soaking it all in... these boys rock and now that they are getting older i miss the really funny things they used to say... but every now and then there is one that makes its way into a conversation.. for example we have been watching a lot of MacGyver lately and our oldest noticed he kisses a lot of girls (sure see a lot of james bong influence on that show), so he commented on it by saying "wow he sure kisses a lot of girls, i think when he gets married all the girls he kissed are going to be mad"

last night we were looking at our school backpacks and "A" said he could no longer use his as it is broken... why is it broken bud... "there is a hole in it and the rain could get through" (note the hole is in meshing - i guess those holes don't count) what a nut

well now they are fighting and i am starting to get "frustrated" okay school days, on second thought get here soon...
