so Saturday i had a "lets just get it done already" day... unfortunately the weather had something else in mind and did not co-operate at all.
i started on the park bench first and it is looking so good even after only one coat of paint, gloss black, and a clear varathane for the new wooden slates that will now accompany the bench, (the old ones were in terrible shape). so with one coat of paint and varathane done the misty rain came, so into the garage everything went and sadly the cool weather did not provide the drying conditions required. so there it sits in the garage... but today is sunny, i am all smiles as the projects will get done today!
oh hey did you notice something else in the picture, or two... more on that "stump" and "piano bench" later!
