Weekend Recap...

Hi Everyone, I hope you had a great weekend

Did you start your Christmas Shopping?

We tried....

I did a quick count & we spent 10 hours in various malls over the weekend.

Good thing Starbucks had their buy one get one free Holiday Drink promo on

I needed it

Line ups everywhere and parking lot chaos

I had my shopping buddy with me (when he got tired I just fed him frappicino's) Yup , I was officially disqualified from the "Mommy of the Year" Award (and it likely won't be the last time either)

I had these great intentions of purchasing "other people" gifts... but was it that I came home with three bags of stuff for myself... it was like I was being attacked by great deals on items in my size & style - that never happens

I tried to make decisions, for example I came across these linen boots in grey and cream... I bbm'd my BFF and asked her which pair to keep

Apparently she found the same ones and couldn't decide either

(they were on half price at less then $20 I figured that was pretty sweet)

Sunday we pulled out the decorations and decorated the naked Christmas tree sitting in our Living Room for the past week...
Sorry Mr Tree - you sure look great all dressed up now

(someday I will have a real camera to take better pictures - sorry)

Then my sweets got out his drill (yeah) and we turned our very blah too much brown ottoman

Into our very blah too much brown ottoman with wheels...

now for movie nite we can roll it right up to the couch turning our couch into one jumbo chaise lounge

can you say "pop the popcorn"

 I found this material the other day as a possible option for recovering the blah too much brown ottoman

But...You just never know with me - I just might end up with this in the end yet

I saw this at Restoration Hardware the other day - ahhhhh
