Where did Monday Go?

Is it really Tuesday already...

ummmm... Lets pretend it is Monday and I am not behind the ball on the good ol' blog, shall we

It was another great weekend of getting stuff done around here

Nothing Really Big...just little stuff that has made a Big impact (know what I mean)

For 10 years or more... I really have lost count already - A group of gals and I get together once a year and we have a clothing & accessories swap (at our largest we were 14, this year there were 8 of us)

My sister-in-law is always up for some sort of goofiness that involves trying on something way to small or way to big

We laugh a lot

Eat yummies & drink warm drinks

Every year I bring a couple bags of slightly used clothes that I know I should have parted with the year before... and every year I come home with more that I left with

But not all for me

I shop for my mom, my kids, my friends... and it is all free - we just swap

So much fun

On a random clothing note... I purchased this really cute belt last week.

I had pictured it being part of a men's style dress shirt look - (I own a rather large collection of cardigans), so I pictured the dress shirt, cardigan, a pair of leggings and boots, perhaps one of my latest infinity scarves, and this cute little belt

As I snipped off the price tag and then the belt label tag on my new super cute pink belt... I paused and I actually read the label (which I don't typically do) and it said

"this garment is know to cause cancer, physical deformity's and developmental damage.  Do not ingest or suck on garment"

Excuse me ??? 

I was really bothered by the fact that this garment was not safe.  (I bought it at Below.The.Belt)

And I am sad that this belt and other items like it are allowed to be sold to us... disturbing really

Needless to say I no longer own this belt & I will be reading all tags now before I purchase
