i started with this - and had a sense that it might not end well...
Remember way way back when i painted the black room with that FRUSTRATING paint, well this was frustrating paint part II, and it lived up to its reputation.
so this was the room before

i debated just donating the paint and telling myself that yes the price of the paint was a loss but i would be saving myself the time of painting the room twice in the end, but alas i just couldn't do that as this is what my little dude picked out and i was determined not to be a "fun-sucker".
thus began my walk on the wild side far far away from my safe zone of neutral beige's, taupe's, whites, and greys (oh, and i suppose i can add black to my repertory now too)
alas the orange went on the walls, the grey bled through even with a primer, and i used every last drop of paint in the pail just to paint barely two coats (i have never used a full can of paint to paint this room ever - till now of course)
will i be purchasing this paint again you may ask ??? ummmmmm yeah nopes - i so ain't gonna do that again.
a-man likes it though, and really that is the main thing. so the room will stay as is for a while till he decides he has had nough... can anyone say "white walls" or a very neutral warm color !! oh and as ofr the paint i will be purchasing aura paint forever more, it is worth the $$ in time and saved frustrations.
this weekend was also filled with a little baking, mmmmmmm
and of course the weekend consisted of a lot of this...
and a little of that...
a total blast
