We are CBC radio fans around here
Yesterday I was mentioning it to E's guitar teacher and I found myself saying
"it isn't the old person's radio station anymore"
and then thought to myself (wait am I old ??)
We have all our stations (home & vehicle) set to CBC (even E has his radio set to CBC)
I catch our youngest aka Thee Professional House Whistler whistling Serena Ryder & Muse... all the time
(when he was 3 he spent the whole summer trying to whistle the Andy Griffith tune & once he got it - it never stopped, we stayed with my aunt & uncle a weekend that summer and by day 3 both my aunt&uncle (who don't have kids) announced that they actually have a no whistling inside the house rule... but he found his tune again on the road trip home - he is such a cutie)
Yesterday I googled CBC top 20 (w/ Nana aba Duncan) as E would like to learn "Hero" by Family of the Year, on the guitar... and on the cbc site they had this video that I thought was cute and had to share...
click on link below..... get ready to smile!

I don't blame you if you feel the need to get yourself a leather slicker & a pair of roller skates!! hee hee
At minute 3:44 in the video I told my boys I am going to do that someday
(when I was ages 6 to 8 we had a roller rink close to my house, complete with a disco ball & red shag carpet benches that outlined the indoor rink & a DJ booth. I would walk there with my white roller skates w/ red bumpers hanging over my shoulder and skate with my friends for hours... that was till my parents decided to buy an acreage surrounded by grid roads, thus ending my roller skating career... but it introduced me to my future groom!!!... and hey maybe we will both pick up roller skating again someday - you never know!)
I hope you enjoy the video & if your looking for an alternative to listen to in the car (my kids are getting to the age where pop music is wayyyy to offensive - even for me - I feel yucky after listening to those stations - yup I am old !!) I would recommend CBC on your FM dial...
Happy Tuesday
