I am not sure when it happened...
When my boys went from watching Veggie Tales & Penguin's - to i-Carly
It feels like it literally happened over night ??
To those who are not in i-carly land yet.... well consider yourself people who have not yet experienced the non-sense-ness of Seinfeld - only produced for kids
Yesterday on our "date" I purchased a box of old-el-paso taco's
my kids have never had
And since everyone needs to experience the terribly messy hard shelled taco at least once in their life - I figured this was as good of a time as any
what does this have to do with i-carly
well... on i-carly they eat spaghetti tacos...
And since i just so happened to have left over pasta noodles from a previous supper I let the boys try it
and of course...
they liked it...
In other news, I also stumbled across these on our date
Two things I have learned this week are...
- Announce a project complete & the items that elude you will magically appear in stores
- And that I should go on more "morning dates"!
I have not filled the frames with Art just yet
Perhaps an art piece by each of my boys, monograms, silhouette's, abstract homemade art or some kind... a couple years ago I saw some great aboriginal "dot art" at a museum & thought it might be fun to try someday...
Not totally sure just yet...
I will keep you posted on what I decide
