Happy New Year

I realize I am four days late making that announcement

**Note... Sorry I tried posting this on friday last week and it wouldn't... so here is hoping second time around works...

If you noticed my last post was almost a month ago, and although it was not an intentional blog vacation, I quickly realized that with hosting both of our families this Christmas, all the baking I wanted to accomplish, and with my "baby - oh who am I kiddin' - my youngest "big boy" as seriously calling him a child barely seems to suit him these days anymore" ... so lets go with "my youngest" had a b-day officially,  and with the season of Christmas upon us... I knew I also needed to address a few neglected areas of our home so I felt ready to host

I cleaned & organized the pantry, kitchen cupboards and drawers, linen closets, front closet, both boys closets (someone grew one day while I wasn't looking - wow their childhood is going so fast.  When they were babies in diapers & disobeying bedtime rules (we actually reminisced over the holidays about our days of switching from crib to a bed with our oldest - we found him in all sorts of random places - closets, bathrooms, under A's crib, under our bed.. it was a crazy & exhausting time for us - and soooo funny now) oh I would have given anything to know back then that they would grow up quickly - but now - I find myself secretly wishing time would slow down a little - that is why I am enjoying all the hugs&kisses, and pimple free faces as long as I can for the coming years - and of course while it is still cool for them to like their mom in public

As I mentioned back in December, my plan was to take the entire school Christmas break off from work this year
and I really, seriously, actually... did not open my computer once!
You said whhhaaaat... I know
This was the first Christmas I have done this in 5 years - It felt really good to relax and enjoy my boys with no pressure to get a project done.  I luv my job which makes it hard for me to put it away - unless I leave the country of course - but learning balance for myself at home is important.

This new year also marks the start to my sixth year of running my Drafting & Design Company
I luv my career as much today as I did when I started - maybe even a little more... I feel so blessed and I am so thankful for the wonderful clients I have and how they support my desire to be available for my family - This is a value that can be hard to find - and I feel so blessed that God has brought people into my life that have made this all possible. Thank you Thank you

So yeah Wow... It is officially 2013, and my mind is already all a flutter with ideas & HUGE plans for projects this coming year....
Here are a couple of them off the top of my head...
